3How many destinations does Moswey have?
We have 20 destinations
4How far in advance should I book my trip?
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak season travel (July–October and December–February). Last-minute bookings may be accommodated depending on availability, but early booking ensures better lodge options and pricing.

Kilimanjaro
1Do I need prior mountaineering experience to climb Kilimanjaro?
No technical climbing experience is required. Kilimanjaro is a trekking peak that can be reached by walking. A good level of physical fitness and mental determination are essential. Our guides will set a comfortable pace (pole pole) to help with acclimatisation.
2Which route do you recommend for Kilimanjaro?
We recommend the Machame Route (7 days) for its scenic beauty and good acclimatisation profile, or the Lemosho Route (8 days) for a more remote and premium experience. Both offer higher success rates than the Marangu Route.
Payments
1What currency do you accept and how do I pay?
We accept payments in USD, EUR, GBP, and TZS. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or mobile money (M-Pesa). A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due 30 days before departure.
2What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made 60+ days before departure receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations 30–59 days before departure forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
3Are park fees and tips included in the package price?
All national park fees and conservation levies are included in our quoted prices unless stated otherwise. Tips for guides and staff are not included — we recommend budgeting approximately $10–$20 per day per guide.
Safari
1What is the best time to go on safari in Tanzania?
The dry season from June to October is generally the best time for wildlife viewing. The Great Migration in the Serengeti peaks between July and September. However, Tanzania offers excellent safari experiences year-round.
2What animals can I expect to see on a Tanzania safari?
Tanzania is home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. The Ngorongoro Crater offers particularly high concentrations of wildlife year-round.
3What should I pack for a safari?
We recommend neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, beige, olive), a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera with a good zoom lens, and comfortable walking shoes. A light jacket is essential for early morning game drives.
Zanzibar
1Can I combine a safari with a Zanzibar beach holiday?
Yes! A safari-and-beach combination is one of our most popular packages. After the excitement of a Tanzania safari, unwinding on the pristine white beaches of Zanzibar is the perfect ending to your holiday. We handle all transfers and logistics seamlessly.
2What is the best time to visit Zanzibar?
The best time to visit Zanzibar is during the dry seasons: June to October and December to February. The sea is calm and clear, ideal for snorkelling, diving, and beach relaxation. Avoid the heavy rainy season from March to May.
